Feeding it!

With a different motor on the feeder and a custom made connector we managed a constant flow of plastic throughout the extruder. Next up, assembling!

Stan Mulder delivered a stellar performance here connecting a motor from his attic to the feeder. He also 3D printed an axis, which worked great for 10-15 minutes and then failed. 2-3 more attempts and putting a grinder to the metal axis and reprinting the part made for an excellent solution. All credit here to Stan's ingenuity and fighting spirit.
