Drying

Many types of plastics intent to absorb moisture from the air. Even the types of plastics that are consider non-hygroscopic attract water onto the surface of the material. Therefore, drying is always necessary before using the material for production.

This pellet drying machine is currently used as a separate process to withdraw the moisture prior to extrusion. Ideally the machine is integrated within the production process to create a closed moisture free system.
